To qualify for the Special Assessment Level or “Senior Freeze,” you must be 65 years of age or older and meet the income requirement as set forth by the Louisiana Legislature. The maximum Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) to qualify is $102,700 for 2026. Beginning in 2026, the income requirement is adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
