THE 2026 OFFICIAL PUBLIC EXPOSURE/REVIEW PERIOD IS MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2026, THROUGH MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026.
The deadline to file a 2026 Assessment Review with the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office is the last day of the Public Inspection/Exposure/Review of the Tax Roll period, Monday, August 31, 2026. The 2026 tax roll may be available online as early as August 1, 2026 to allow property owners more time to check their assessments.

Checking your assessment on this website is a public service and has no charge. We will never ask for credit card information or payment of any kind.
Do not wait until you receive your tax bill in November to attempt to file an Assessment Review. All property owners are strongly encouraged to check assessments, verify mailing and physical addresses, and any special assessments, exemptions, etc., every year in AUGUST.

Please do not wait till the end of the Inspection/Exposure/Review period, August 31, 2026, to file an Assessment Review with the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office.
If a timely 2026 Assessment Review application has been filed with the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office and you have not received a response or if not satisfied with the response, you may submit an Appeal to the Board of Review (the Parish Council). The deadline to file an Appeal to the Parish Board of Review is Monday, September 14, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
Any Assessment Reviews and Appeals received after the legal deadline Monday, September 14, 2026, forfeit any rights to appeal and are processed after all timely submitted reviews and Board of Review appeals are completed.
Storm Review Applications may be filed anytime there is a hurricane, flood, tornado, etc., regardless of normal deadlines.
2025 parish millage rates, breakdowns, and comparisons can be viewed HERE. 2026 millage rates will be available in the fall of 2026, after they are approved by various boards and the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.
The 2025 tax roll was certified in October 2025. Any additions, deletions, or changes made to the 2025 Tax Roll as a result of an Assessment Review after the Tax Roll was certified in October will be reflected by “change orders” approved by the Louisiana Tax Commission. Any changes will be shown online in August 2026, when the tax roll is open for public inspection. This process occurs yearly.
GIS parcels reflect current/live configuration, underlying data reflects 2025 certified tax roll without subsequent change orders filed until the 2026 tax roll is certified.
Everything we do at the Assessor’s Office is done by LAW. Data used to assess property for the 2024 reassessment is from the LEGALLY DESIGNATED time period between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. This is required by the LA Tax Commission.
