Assessor Louis Fitzmorris has served as our Assessor of St. Tammany Parish since 2013. Fitzmorris proudly served as Mayor for the Town of Abita Springs for 10 years prior to being elected assessor and also spent 19 years as a successful business owner. Assessor Fitzmorris is a graduate of Louisiana State University and grew up here in St. Tammany Parish in the small Village of Sun. He and his wife Tawnya have been married for 42 years and reside in Abita Springs. They have two adult daughters, one son and are the proud grandparents to one grandson.
