In accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 47:1992 A (1)(a), notice is hereby given that the listings of all immovable and movable property in St. Tammany Parish and their respective assessments will be exposed for public inspection Monday,  August 15, 2022 through Monday, August 29, 2022. Public inspection will occur during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the St Tammany Parish Assessor’s Offices, located at 701 N. Columbia Street in the Justice Center in Covington and at 520 Old Spanish Trail, Suite 2F, in the Towers Building in Slidell. The Slidell office is closed weekdays from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00p.m. for lunch. During this legally designated time period, assessments will also be exposed for public inspection and available on the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office website:  https://STPAO.org/Check-Your-Assessment/. 

The assessment list shall be certified to the St. Tammany Parish Board of Review (Parish Council) on or before September 1, 2022. The St. Tammany Parish Council shall sit as Board of Review and convene hearings within 10 days, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Tax Commission. Hearings will be held at the Parish Council Chambers located at 21490 Koop Drive in Mandeville.

A REVIEW with the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office must first be filed before any APPEAL is filed with the Board of Review.  The deadline to file a REVIEW with the Assessor’s Office is Monday, August 29, 2022 at 4:30pm.  The deadline to file an APPEAL with the Board of Review is Friday, September 2, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Board of Review hearings are to commence on Monday September 12, 2022.
