The STPAO GIS Department has been sizing up 100,000 Assessment Number features as a milestone for quite some time now. We are happy to finally report that we finally can put that goal behind us.

Thanks to a tremendous September, there now are 101,346 Assessment Number features in GIS. In the last month alone, 4,239 features were added to the count, making September one of our most productive months to date. The explosive growth in September can be attributed to a number of GIS projects, including the ongoing Covington QC effort, the Tax District 4 and Tax District 22 Projects, our high priority assignments, and a recent ingest of contract work. Next we are anticipating the completion and addition of parcels for the City of Slidell by the end of this year.
