16 Jul Public Inspection Of The 2025 Tax Roll
In accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 47:1992 A (1)(a), notice is hereby given that the listings of all immovable and movable property in St. Tammany Parish and their respective assessments will be exposed for public inspection Friday, August 15, 2025, through Friday, August 29, 2025. Public inspection will occur during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the St Tammany Parish Assessor’s Offices, located at 701 N. Columbia Street in the Justice Center in Covington and at 520 Old Spanish Trail, Suite 2F, in the Towers Building in Slidell. The Slidell office is closed weekdays from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm for lunch. The assessment list shall be certified to the St. Tammany Parish Board of Review (Parish Council) on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The St. Tammany Parish Council shall sit as Board of Review and convene hearings within 10 days, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Tax Commission. Hearings will be held at the Parish Council Chambers located at 21490 Koop Drive in Mandeville. A REVIEW with the St. Tammany Parish Assessor’s Office must first be filed before any APPEAL is filed with the Board of Review. The deadline to file a REVIEW with the Assessor’s Office is Friday, August 29, 2025, at 4:30 pm. The deadline to file an APPEAL with the Board of Review is Monday, September 15, 2025, at 4:30 pm. Board of Review hearings are to commence on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. PLEASE NOTE: You must submit all information concerning the value of your property to your assessor before the deadline for filing an appeal with the Board of Review. The failure to submit such information may prevent you from relying on that information should you protests your value.
