The following St. Tammany Parish Taxing Bodies have hearings set in the Council Chambers at 21490 Koop Drive to consider rolling up their millages:
Fire District 1 – July 23rd, 3 pm CANCELED
Fire District 3 – July 31st, 4 pm
Fire District 4 – July 30th, 6 pm
Fire District 7 – July 31st, 5 pm CANCELED
Fire District 9 – July 31st, 6 pm
Fire District 12 – July 31st, 2 pm
*St.Tammany Parish Council – Sept. 5th, 6 pm
*Mandeville City Council, Mandeville City Hall – Sept. 26th, 6 pm
Town of Madisonville, Madisonville Town Hall – Aug. 12th, 6 pm
UPDATE – The Fire Districts below voted to roll up their millages:
Fire District 3 rolled up 1.85 mills
Fire District 4 rolled up 1.92 mills
Fire District 9 rolled up 2.59 mills
Fire District 12 rolled up 1.11 mills
A one mill increase is the equivalent to a $10 tax increase annually per $10,000 Assessed Value or $100,000 Market Value.
